Our Community is a big part of the nature recovery story
Today, green spaces are shrinking, wildlife is struggling, risks like flooding and heat waves are increasing and people are experiencing the affects of climate change. But together, we can change this by creating a nature positive community, making our neighbourhoods across Wiltshire and Swindon healthier, safer, and more vibrant.
We will do our best to keep people informed, connected, and up to date with what’s happening across Wiltshire as work progresses.
We welcome everyone to share news and activities with us, to help spread the word.

Thinking big about chalk at Parsonage Down
The Wiltshire & Swindon Local Nature Partnership visited Parsonage Down National Nature Reserve with the Wiltshire & Swindon LNP Board, alongside Big Chalk and the Wiltshire Chalk Partnership. The visit highlighted the significance of Wiltshire’s exceptional chalk grassland landscapes and the importance of working together to protect and enhance these valuable habitats. It was also an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand how sustainable farming practices are supporting nature recovery while maintaining productive and resilient farm businesses.
